Race Details

Run Fido Run will present our third annual doggie dash - a 5K run/walk for you and your four-legged best friends - on September 8, 2012 at Eagle Island State Park.

All race participants will receive a Run Fido Run Doggie Dash t-shirt. Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers.

Who: You, your dog(s), your family, your friends
What: A 5K (3.1 miles) dog jog
When: Saturday, September 8, 2012 - Race starts at 10:00am
Where: Eagle Island State Park - 4000 W Hatchery Rd, Eagle, ID
*Eagle Island State Park has a $5 entrance fee per vehicle and limited parking - carpooling is encouraged

How: Online registration will be available soon

Why: To have fun while raising money for homeless and needy animals! All proceeds from Run Fido Run will benefit local, Idaho humane organizations that help our furry friends, from canine to feline and even some in between, have a better life.

Important information:

Running/walking with your pup is optional.
Registration fee is for human participants only.
All registration fees are non-refundable. The race will be held rain or shine.
All canines must be leashed before, during, and after the race. No retractable leashes, please.
Licenses, ID tags, and current vaccinations are recommended for all dogs participating in the event.
For the safety of our furry friends, we also ask that no dogs under 6 months or female dogs in heat participate. Also, please no aggressive dogs.
Please be sure to clean up after your doggie(s).
